Fellowship got its start in 1843 when a group of believers started meeting in the “Mill Village” section of Dedham. In fact, the original site is a stone’s throw from our current location. Originally a Baptist Church with various pastors, buildings and names, the church has stood with its doors open and shared God’s Word and God’s love with the neighbors and surrounding community. We’re very proud of our history as it relates to our faithfulness to our mission and to this town.
With the final name change and becoming a non-denominational church in 1994, Fellowship is still standing strong in the Lord after 166 years. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and life experiences to come and receive from the Lord, as you’ll see once you get to know us. In fact, our diversity is one of the things that makes us strong.
The current chapter in our story is now being written. In July of 2009, we called our new Pastor, Rev. Stephen Johnson, to join with us and stand in the long tradition of ministering through authentic preaching and teaching, living faithfully in community with us, and dreaming big dreams for Jesus. Won’t you consider being a part of making this new history with us?
